Malaysia-Vietnam trade grew 21% in first half


KUALA LUMPUR: The bilateral trade between Malaysia and Vietnam grew 21.2 % to RM2.34 bil in the first half of 2017 (H1’17) compared with RM1.93 bil recorded in the same period last year, said Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister Datuk Seri Mah Siew Keong.

He said exports of commodity products to Vietnam surged 22.6% to RM1.52 bil in H1’17 against RM1.24bil recorded in the same period of 2016.
