UOA Q2 profit jumps 33% to RM165.7mil

One of UOA’s developments - Le Yuan Residence - has enjoyed good take-up rates.

PETALING JAYA: Property developer UOA Development Bhd posted a 33.3% jump in net profit to RM165.7mil on the back of a 58% surge in revenue to RM465.6mil for the second quarter ended June 30 compared to the same quarter a year ago.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, the company said the higher performance in its topline and bottomline was due to progressive recognition from development projects in locations such as Kepong, Sentul and Bangsar South.
