MBM earnings down on lower motor vehicle sales


Perodua Manufacturing Sdn Bhd acting senior general manager Mohd Saifuzzaman Mohammad said the plan was aimed at fulfilling the demand for low fuel efficient compact cars.

PETALING JAYA: Automotive firm MBM Resources Bhd’s net profit fell 14% to RM16.2mil for the second quarter ended June 30 compared to RM18.8mil a year ago due to lower motor vehicle sales.

Revenue for the quarter declined 5% to RM403.9mil from RM427mil previously.
