Scomi Group up but units down on requotation


When contacted, chief executive officer Kanesan Veluppillai confirmed that Sao Paulo Metro had turned to Scomi Engineering to complete and possibly fast track the Line 17 monorail project.

PETALING JAYA: Scomi Group Bhd saw its share price soaring 13.5% yesterday, following the announcement of a proposed corporate exercise that will see the merger of its two listed subsidiaries under one entity.

Scomi Group closed the day at 13 sen a share, 13.5% higher than before it was suspended at 11 sen last Friday.
