Overweight recommendation for Lotte

PETALING JAYA: JPMorgan Chase & Co and HSBC have initiated coverage on Lotte Chemical Titan Holding Bhd with “overweight” and “buy” calls, respectively.

JPMorgan analyst Ajay Mirchandani said Lotte Chemical is the fourth-largest producer of polyolefin products in South-East Asia, cornering a 10% share in capacity as of 2016, and with leading market positions in Malaysia and Indonesia.
