Auditors raise doubts on Scomi’s business ability due to ongoing disputes

PETALING JAYA: Scomi Engineering Bhd’s legal disputes with key client Prasarana Malaysia Bhd have raised doubts over the group’s ability to continue as a business, its independent auditors said.

“These events or conditions, along with other matters, indicate that a material uncertainty exists that may cast significant doubt on the ability of the group and of the company to continue as going concerns,” KPMG said.
