ManagePay associate Trustgate to seek listing on Bursa's LEAP

KUALA LUMPUR: Managepay Systems Bhd's associate Trustgate Bhd plans to seek a listing on the  Leading Entrepreneur Accelerator Platform (LEAP) Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities.

M&A Securities Sdn Bhd has been appointed as the adviser of Trustgate for the proposed listing exercise, it said on Monday. It owns 29.5% of Trustgate.

On Dec 10, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission extended Trustgate’s licence as certification authority from July 25, 2015 to July 24, 2020.

Basically, Trustgate's product secures the client' website and promotes customer confidence with superior encryptionand authentication. 

Trustgate said its function is to establish a secure encrypted connection between a client and a server – typically a web server and a browser, and protects sensitive data, such as login credential, Identification number, credit card information, exchanged during each session 

Meanwhile the LEAP Market aims at giving small and medium-sized enterprises access to fundraising via the capital market.
