APPIES Malaysia, in its second year, has given out 17 awards to the most powerful marketing campaigns in Malaysia.
The two-day festival hosted 30 senior marketers who judged 54 shortlisted campaigns led by chief judge Rakesh Mohan, regional chairman of Unilever.
Following a four-six-15 Live stage format, presenters showed a four-minute video of their campaign, then a six-minute oral presentation and finally field questions from the judges and audience for 15 minutes. Among the gold winning brands were KFC, Milo, Maxis, Listerine, MDEC and McDonald’s.
