PETALING JAYA: CIMB Group Holdings Bhd’s 94.11% indirect subsidiary, CIMB Thai group, saw its consolidated net profit rise 30.1% to 477.8 million baht for the six-month period ended June 30, 2017 on the back of lower operating expenses and provisions.

Operating income was lower by 1.6% while improved cost controls brought about a 2% decline in operating expenses.
