FGV: Two directors intended to resign several weeks ago


KUALA LUMPUR: In relation to a daily’s report on the resignation of two existing board members of Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd (FGV), FGV clarified that the two said board members had expressed their intentions to resign from their positions several weeks ago.

This clarification was in relation to a Malay- language daily which said that two existing FGV board members, Datuk Dr Omar Salim and Datuk Noor Ehsanuddin Mohd Harun Narrashid, had refused to resign despite being told to do so by the current Felda chairman Tan Sri Shahrir Samad.
