54 entries shortlisted for APPIES conference

From a field of about 70 entries, the organisers and advisory council of APPIES Malaysia Marketing Awards 2017 have shortlisted 54 entries to be presented during the APPIES Marketing Conference on July 6 and 7 at the Eastin Hotel.

The judges for this year are marketing leaders for brands like Domino’s, Heineken, McDonald’s, Maxis, L’Oréal, Nando’s, MARS, Unilever, Etika, Yeo Hiap Seng, DiGi, Tourism Malaysia, TM Bhd, Fonterra, Celcom and more.

Each of the campaigns will be presented in person on stage by the marketers and campaign creators, starting with a four minute video summary, then six minutes on key highlights and a 15-minute questions and answer session.

This year’s keynote speakers include Rakesh Mohan, chairman of Unilever Malaysia, Singapore, Myanmar, Cambodia & Laos; Dr Terry O’Connor – Group CEO Courts Asia Ltd; Alan Cheah – chief operating officer of GoCar Mobility and Razaleigh Zainal – vice-president of Corporate Affairs at MDEC.
