Fajarbaru bags RM12.8mil contract from Petronas Dagangan

KUALA LUMPUR: Fajarbaru Builder Group Bhd has clinched a RM12.8mil contract from Petronas Dagangan Bhd (PetDag) in relation to the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of Jet A-1 underground pipeline foundation and associated works at KLIA2.

The works at the Q Even aircraft parking bay are for PetDag’s 65%-owned subsidiary Kuala Lumpur Aviation Fuelling System Sdn Bhd, which manages and maintains the airport’s pipelines.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Fajarbaru said the contract, which was awarded to its unit Fajarbaru Builder Sdn Bhd, spanned 34 weeks starting from June 16.

The deal was expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of the company for this financial year, it added.
