FGV posts RM2.46mil Q1 profit

PETALING JAYA: Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd (FGV) returned to profitability in its first quarter ended March 31, posting a net profit of RM2.46mil on the back of revenue that grew to RM4.32bil from RM3.76bil a year ago.

Lowered costs and higher revenue due to the plantation, logistics and others, and sugar sectors by 11%, 57% and 17% respectively, compared to the same period last year saw its bottom line improving in the quarter.
