Samchem calling for EGM to remove director


PETALING JAYA: Samchem Holdings Bhd has issued a notice to shareholders for an upcoming EGM, which seeks to remove a director from the board of the industrial chemical distributor.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Samchem said the EGM, slated for June 23, would vote on the removal of Ng Soh Kian as a director of the firm. “The EGM is to be convened pursuant to Section 312(1) of the Companies Act, 2016,” it said.
