Tenaga cautions public about fraud email


KUALA LUMPUR: Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) had on Friday cautioned the public to be wary about an email which is purportedly sent from the power giant.

The email is claiming the recipient has won RM150,000 in cash from the company.

“Similar email had been going around since 2015. It is a fraudulent email message spread by an unidentified party to steal private information,” it warned.

TNB advised the public not to respond to the email or reveal their personal data/information to any unidentified party.
