Andrew Lee is new 4As president

Lee: ‘We strongly encourage industry practitioners, especially entry-level executives, to optimise the available resources provided by the association to hone their skills.’

THE highly anticipated three-way battle for the presidency of the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents (4As) of Malaysia became a two way contest when Datuk Johnny Mun, the ex-president, decided to withdraw from contesting the post at the association’s biennial general meeting (BGM) held on Thursday.

At the BGM, Andrew Lee was elected as the new 4As president after leading by a comfortable vote against industry veteran Tony Savarimuthu, The latter was 4As past president for two years before Mun and vice-president for six years prior to that and currently is the CEO of Dentsu LHS. Savarimuthu is also not on 4As list of new council members.
