PETALING JAYA: SkyWorld Development Group is investing RM3.8mil in the 13,000 sq ft SkyWorld Quality Centre, which acts as a benchmark for quality construction for all SkyWorld developments.
Being the first of its kind, the centre is earmarked for completion in September 2017 and boasts 10 functional areas such as the SkyWorld lounge, a mini auditorium that can seat 30 pax, as well as a comprehensive show unit consisting of a living room, bedroom, yard, balcony, corridor, staircase, kitchen and bathroom.
SkyWorld Development Group founder and group managing director Datuk Ng Thien Phing said that the SkyWorld Quality Centre is a big move as it is the group’s endorsement of quality developments by SkyWorld.
“As a responsible property developer, we always strive to provide more value-added features to our products.
“Besides offering innovative, location-centric, various facilities & amenities, one important aspect is quality assurance – providing quality homes for our buyers & investors.
“This centre can also be used as a training and education ground for our staff as well as a sharing hub for our consultants and engineers, university students, prospective home buyers and also for the public who want to know more about the quality of construction in Malaysia,” said Ng in a recent press release.
The centre signifies SkyWorld commitments to QLASSIC and CONQUAS quality assessment.
The SkyWorld Quality Centre will showcase quality workmanships such as wall and floor evenness, as compared to an uneven wall or floor surface. Short important notes describing the quality requirements will also be included.
Works Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof, who officiated at the ground-breaking ceremony event, affirmed that the ministry along with Construction Industry Development Board will give their full support to SkyWorld in its quest to increase quality standards.
Also present to officiate the was Setiawangsa MP Datuk Ahmad Fauzi Zahari, SkyWorld COO Lee Chee Seng, and CFO Siew Chee Seng.
