Uthaya Kumar appointed to Bumi Armada board


Bumi Armada crucially needs a change of luck, says Maybank Research.

KUALA LUMPUR: Bumi Armada Bhd has appointed Uthaya Kumar K Vivekananda as an independent and non-executive director, effective today.

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, the company said he was also appointed a member of the audit committee, remuneration committee and nomination  and  corporate governance committee.

Uthaya Kumar, who was with PricewaterhouseCoopers for nearly 35 years, has led and worked on some of the most challenging and complex assignments of the firm, both in Malaysia and globally- Bernama.
