KUALA LUMPUR: Felcra Bhd, which in December retracted its intention to collaborate with Kuantan Flour Mills Bhd, has now expressed interest in partnering with another listed company, CAB Cakaran Corp Bhd.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the integrated poultry farming group said it and Felcra Food Industries Sdn Bhd had, through the non-binding letter of intent dated April 7, mutually agreed to explore the possibility of collaboration in the agriculture and aquaculture business.

“The company will make further announcement on the matter in the event both parties reach a formal agreement on this matter,” CAB Cakaran said.

CAB Cakaran shares advanced 6 sen to close at RM2.38 on Friday with 759,900 shares being traded for the day.
