Public Mutual launches PB Islamic SmallCap Fund

KUALA LUMPUR: Public Mutual Bhd launched its PB Islamic SmallCap Fund (PBISCF) on Tuesday which will focus on small market capitalised companies which comply with syariah principles in domestic and selected foreign markets.

Public Mutual, which is a unit of Public Bank, said PBISCF’s equity exposure ranges between 70% and 98% of its net asset value (NAV) while the balance will be invested in sukuk and Islamic liquid assets.
