Salcon sees profitable year driven by water and wastewater division


Steady stream: For the water and wastewater segment, Salcon has a current outstanding order book of RM645mil and has tendered for new projects worth about RM2.2bil.

PETALING JAYA: Salcon Bhd, a diversified water and wastewater engineering company, expects its recent turnaround in the fourth quarter to sustain into the financial year ending Dec 31, 2017 (FY17).

Chief operating officer Ooi Cheng Swee told StarBiz that he saw a sustenance in profit performance due to several contracts that were secured last year and that would be realised this year.
