Trading ideas: LKL, Olympia Industries, Boustead

KUALA LUMPUR: LKL International Bhd, Olympia Industries and Boustead Holdings are among the stocks which could see some trading interest on Tuesday, according to JF Apex Research.

The research house said LKL saw its net profit in its 3QFY17 slid 48% to RM1.21mil compared with RM2.35mil in the previous year, mainly on lower sales of medical supplies.

Olympia Industries confirmed yesterday that it is planning to dispose of its stake in its stockbroking unit Jupiter Securities Sdn Bhd.

Boustead announced that they have secured a letter of acceptance from the Defence Ministry to supply four vessels to the Royal Malaysian Navy, and that the deal is valued at RM1.17bil.

Meanwhile, JF Apex expect the local bourse to take a breather and hover between 1,700-1,750 levels.

U.S. equities closed mixed on Monday, with utilities lagging, while investors turned their eyes to comments from several Federal Reserve officials. Similarly, European markets closed down on Monday as investors focused on the potential impact that trade barriers could have on global growth.
