Scomi in JV with SGSB to bid for energy jobs


Petronas, which awarded contracts to Scomi, will continue to shape the outlook of the oil and gas sector this year.

PETALING JAYA: Scomi Group Bhd (SGB) and Synergy Generated Sdn Bhd (SGSB) are setting up a joint venture (JV) company to bid for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts in the renewable energy sector, particularly for solar photovoltaic farms.

In a statement yesterday, SGB said the JV company would also offer operation and maintenance services for solar projects, other than EPC solutions.
