BSN says it has no plans to downsize

Adinan: ‘The consolidation exercise will allow us to improve our services and reach out to customers, including those in the remotest parts of the country.’

JOHOR BARU: Bank Simpanan Nasionl (BSN) has no plans to downsize its operations, including closing branches and reducing the number of employees, despite uncertainties in the economic outlook.

Chief executive Datuk Adinan Maning said the bank would instead consolidate its operations by focusing on increasing the number of depositors with new products to suit their needs.
