Press Metal to ramp up production this year

This year, group chief executive officer Datuk Paul Koon Poh Keong is targeting to ramp up production to 760,000 tonnes this year from 620,000 achieved in 2016.

KUALA LUMPUR: Aluminium maker Press Metal Bhd is aiming for higher output this year and wants to push its production capacity to the maximum, as it seeks to capture the benefit of higher product prices.

The largest aluminium smelter in South-East Asia turned in a record revenue of RM6.6bil last year.
