Axiata Q4 losses further dampen Bursa Malaysia, foreign funds net buyers

KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia ended Thursday on a weak note as the cautious investor sentiment was further impacted by Axiata Group Bhd's net losses in the fourth quarter due to forex exchange losses.

Stock market data showed institutions were net sellers at -RM51.5mil and retail investors at -RM13.9mil but foreign funds were net buyers at +RM65.4mil.
