Malaysian palm oil/Vegoils: Market factors to watch Wednesday Feb 22


The benchmark palm oil futures for November rose 1.2% to RM2,594 a tonne at the close of trade. For the week it was down 1.7%, its sharpest weekly decline in more than two months.

KUALA LUMPUR: The following factors are likely to influence Malaysian palm oil futures and other vegetable oil markets on Wed Feb 22.

* Malaysian palm oil futures slid for a fourth consecutive session on Tuesday, hitting their lowest in 15 weeks as expectations of higher production and ample supplies of rival soybean oil weighed on the market.
