EPF sells 6m Malakoff shares since early Feb


Despite the weak earnings, CIMB Research maintained its Hold call on Malakoff.

KUALA LUMPUR: The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) has disposed a total of six million shares in Malakoff Corp Bhd in February, filings with Bursa Malaysia showed.

Southeast Asia's largest independent power producer reported to Bursa Malaysia the latest transaction saw EPF selling three million shares on Feb 7.

This reduced the EPF's stake to 653.63  million shares or 13.05% stake.

Malakoff's share price was up one sen to RM1.28 at 4.10pm on Wednesday.

According to Bloomberg data, among 10 analysts covering the stock, there are two Outperform calls, one Overweight and one Buy call, while there are three Hold calls and one Reduce call.
