DRB-Hicom: Proton partner must fit strategically


PETALING JAYA: DRB-Hicom Bhd, which is targeting to complete the selection of its foreign strategic partner (FSP) for subsidiary Proton Holdings Bhd by the first half of the year, wants a collaborator that can provide a strategic, operational and cultural fit to the national carmaker.

In a statement yesterday, DRB-Hicom said a strategic fit would enable both parties to derive tangible benefits from the range of technology and products available.
