UOB: Listing of edotco among catalysts for Axiata’s re-rating


Axiata sees potential injection of tower assets in Cambodia and Sri Lanka into edotco

THIS is the first time Axiata Group Bhd has diluted its stake in its wholly-owned subsidiary, edotco Group Sdn Bhd and it will see its parent company, Khazanah Nasional Bhd emerging as a direct shareholder in edotco.

On Wednesday, Axiata announced that it has signed the definitive agreements on the record maiden equity private placement deal of US$600mil for the disposal of a 34.1% stake in its wholly-owned tower infrastructure unit.
