Survey tender called for KL-S'pore High Speed Rail project

KUALA LUMPUR: MyHSR Corp Sdn Bhd (MyHSR) will call for a tender for a ground control point survey tomorrow (Friday), said chief executive officer Mohd Nur Ismal Mohamed Kamal.

In a statement, Mohd Nur Ismal said the tender package would be opened to experienced companies registered with the Finance Ministry and the Land Surveyors Board of Malaysia.

“We encourage firms with the relevant experience to participate and look forward to a competitive and successful tender,” he said.

He said the tender would facilitate works in the areas of survey for the establishment of a common and consistent survey network within the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High Speed Rail (HSR) corridor.

It formed part of the overall project development works following the recent signing of the bilateral agreement on the project between Malaysia and Singapore government, he said.

Mohd Nur Ismal said the outcome of the survey would be instrumental for the interface between the relevant grid systems and the infrastructure construction.

“The survey works would include the installation of the GCP monuments and establishing a common reference point between the National Grid, the State Grid and the HSR Project Grid,” he said.
