PETALING JAYA : Sedania Innovator Bhd has entered into a strategic partnership agreement with Iscada New Sdn Bhd for the provision of Internet of Things (IoT) solutions for a period of five years.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the technology firm said its wholly owned subsidiary IDOTTV Sdn Bhd would collaborate with Iscada to undertake the provision of iSNET Fire Safety Portal under Sistem Pengawasan Kebakaran Automatik for the Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM).
IDOTTV shall be responsible to design, develop, procure, and supply IoT solutions in the form of iFSP devices to Iscada.
According to Sedania, the number of devices to be supplied to Iscada is for a minimum of 6,300 designated buildings identified by JBPM for a period of five years, which may increase from time to time when JBPM adds on to the designated buildings list.
The devices will be supplied to Iscada at a minimum selling price of RM2,300 per unit excluding goods and services tax.
The agreement shall be effective from Dec 21, 2016 and shall continue over a period of five years, the group said.
