KLANG: Hai-O Enterprise Bhd has inked a collaboration agreement with Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.

The collaboration is kicked off with co-branding of the Huawei Mate 9 smartphone.

“We have plans in the pipeline to develop an app as well as user interface design with the Hai-O logo, which will be incorporated in the future Huawei Mate 10 and P10 models.

“For a start, we have about 500 Huawei Mate 9 units that feature the Hai-O logo on the packaging,” said Hai-O managing director Tan Keng Kang after the signing ceremony.

Tan added that the Huawei Mate 9, available for Hai-O members and distributors to purchase, will complement their personalities and lifestyles, as they are often on the go.

Hai-O’s multilevel marketing (MLM) division contributes an estimated 75% to the group’s total revenue.

“With the Huawei Mate 9, our products can be marketed more effectively, certainly boosting our performance while capturing a larger market,” said Tan.

Hai-O is involved in wholesale, retail, credit and leasing, MLM, production of medicines, as well as clinical service businesses.
