KUALA LUMPUR: Mudajaya Group Bhd’s unit, Mudajaya Corp Bhd, has accepted the letter of offer from Energy Commission to undertake the development of a large-scale 49MW solar photovoltaic plant at Kuala Kangsar, Perak, for RM270mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company said the award was expected to be finalised by February 2017.

“The construction period for the project (in Sungai Siput) is 18 months from the finalisation of the award and it is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of the group for the financial year ending 2018 onwards,” it added. - Bernama
