Bermaz Auto subsidiary submits listing plan in Manila


Cars from Japan and the US are expected to be cheaper to import in the first 12 years. However, Malaysia can retain the excise duties prevailing at that time.

KUALA LUMPUR: Bermaz Auto Bhd's Philippines subsidiary has filed its application to list on the Main Board of the Philippine Stock Exchange.

Bermaz Auto, formerly know as Berjaya Auto Bhd, said on Wednesday that Bermaz Auto Philipines Inc had submitted the listing proposal to the  Securities and Exchange Commission of the Philippines.

Bermaz Auto is the Mazda vehicles distributor in Malaysia and the Philippines.
