KUALA LUMPUR: Tenaga Nasional and Malayan Banking (Maybank) shored up blue chips at midday on Tuesday but the FBM KLCI gave up most of its early gains due to the lack of fund support.
Tenaga rose 10 sen to RM14.08 and nudged the KLCI up by 0.93 of a point. CIMB Equities Research said Tenaga aims to deliver earnings before interest and tax of RM20bil by 2025, implying a compounded average growth rate of 10% in 2015-2025.
