KUALA LUMPUR: EcoWorld, Poh Kong, Bermaz Auto and SapuraKencana are among the stocks which could see trading interest on Friday after their quarterly results, says JF Apex Research.
As for AirAsia, it had signed a maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) contract with AirFrance's unit.
The research house also said Malaysia Steel Works’ three directors were reprimanded and fined by Bursa for breaching listing requirements.
JF Apex Research said US markets extended their rally to new record highs after the European Central Bank (ECB) announced fresh stimulus measures. Earlier, European stocks jumped after the ECB extended its quantitative easing.
At Bursa Malaysia, the FBM KLCI surged 11.28 points to close at 1,643.75.
“Following the bullish performance led by Europe, the FBM KLCI could break its resistance of 1,645 and move out of the sideways channel,” it said.
