Boustead earnings soar owing to gains on disposals

PETALING JAYA: Boustead Holdings Bhd net profit for the third quarter ended Sept 30, 2016 soared to RM44mil from RM6mil in the corresponding quarter last year mainly due to gains on disposals.

The disposals included the group’s stake in Jendela Hikmat Sdn Bhd as well as the sale of non-core plantation land.
