KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Aviation Group Bhd (MAG) has appointed Captain Izham Ismail as the new chief operations officer (COO) of its subsidiary Malaysia Airlines Bhd (MAB) effective Nov 1.

MAG said in a statement yesterday that Izham had served a short stint as chief executive officer of MAB’s regional airline subsidiary MASwings, where he is now succeeded by Aminuddin Zakaria.
