REVIEW: Bursa Malaysia kicked off the week on a positive note and attempted to rally on renewed bargain-hunting interest, tracking a steadier overnight Wall Street the previous Friday.
The bellwether FTSE Bursa Malaysia KL Composite Index (FBM KLCI) had opened up 2.16 points to 1,661.13 amid gains in the blue chips. However, the move was quick to fizzle out, as a marginally easier crude oil prices was not supportive of the bulls.
