CPO production down 16.1% in first half


THE production of crude palm oil (CPO) in Malaysia has been severely affected by the El Nino phenomenon.

This resulted in the overall sluggish performance of the agriculture sector, of which CPO accounts for 40% contribution, , says the Economic Report 2016-2017.
