KUALA LUMPUR: The FBM KLCI rallied by 7.41 points to 1,661.12 points at the midday close, in line with major Asian markets which rose following the US dollar's retreat amid speculation that the US Federal Reserve will maintain an accommodative policy.
The benchmark index had earlier fallen to 1,652.63 points this morning before subsequently reversing the losses.
