REVIEW: Against the negative US backdrop, shares on Bursa Malaysia kicked off the new week on a soft note, with the FBM KLCI declining 1.47 points to 1,669.52 in the wake of profit-taking liquidation.
Blue chips led the way, slipping into correction mode following solid gains the prior week, but the pullback was shallow, as light buying on weakness by the foreign funds helped cushion the downside.
