Electrolux unveils range of premium Nutrifresh fridges


KUALA LUMPUR: Electrolux, a global leader in household appliances and the leader in kitchen appliances in Malaysia, has unveiled a new range of premium Nutrifresh fridges for the local market.

"This brand new fridge enables consumers to enjoy healthy fruits and vegetables as fresh as the day they were bought," Electrolux Malaysia and Singapore marketing director Wendy Ho said.

She said the latest product features Nutrifresh unique tight seal, a key element of the refrigerator, which provides five times higher humidity and ensures produce stay fresh after seven days.

"The fridge also incorporates FreshShield crisper, which guarantees high-quality taste for all produce stored inside.

"Interestingly, our new range of fridges comes with an inverter, which is a more environmental friendly way to maintain fresh food while sustaining 37% in energy savings compared with older fridges," she told reporters at the product launch in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday.

The fridge comes in eight different designs with four different styles, namely Top Freezer, French Door, Three Door and Bottom Freezer.

Priced from RM1,389 to RM3,569, the new range of fridges can be purchased at leading home appliance retailers nationwide.

Ho said the fridge is also equipped with the FreshTaste Deodorizer, which eliminates 99.8% of bacteria and keeps odours away.

"Like all Malaysians, I have a weakness for durian, but the smell can sometimes drive others at home a cause for complain. But with this new fridge, the problem is not much of a hassle anymore," she said. - Bernama
