PETALING JAYA: Islamic banks offering capital market services and products will now become members of the Securities Industry Dispute Resolution Centre (Sidrec) in a move to enhance the financial dispute resolution arrangements for consumers in Malaysia.
According to a statement by the Securities Commission (SC) and Bank Negara, investors of capital market products and services offered by or through Bank Negara-regulated commercial banks and Islamic banks would now have access to dispute resolution services through Sidrec.
