PETALING JAYA: Boustead Plantations Bhd
saw its net profit doubled to RM97.5mil for the second quarter ended June 30, 2016, from RM48.6mil in the corresponding last year due largely to gains on disposal of land.
According to its filing with Bursa Malaysia, the plantation group made a gain of RM83.2mil from the disposal of land during the quarter in review.
