VIENNA: Raiffeisen Bank International AG, the Austrian company whose parent ended Europe's bank stress test as the third-worst, said profit halved in the second quarter because of losses in Asia and a decline in interest income.
Net income for the three months through June slumped to 96 million euros (US$109mil), from 192 million euros a year earlier, the Vienna-based lender said in a statement yesterday.
