Metronic to work on Lot 91 KLCC’s electrical system


KUALA LUMPUR: Metronic Global Bhd has received a RM22.5mil subcontract from Samsung C&T (KL) Sdn Bhd to complete extra low voltage system (ELV) works for the Lot 91 Kuala Lumpur City Centre mixed commercial development project.

The engineering firm, which specialises in intelligent building management system and security management system, told Bursa Malaysia the works were for the construction and completion of basement carparks, convention centre, podium, office tower and associated works.

Lot 91 KLCC, a mixed commercial development undertaken by KLCC (Holdings) Sdn Bhd and Sapura Resources Bhd along Jalan Kia Peng, will comprise an office tower, a convention centre and a retail podium. It was reported that the project was scheduled to be completed by 2020.

Metronic said its subcontract works, to be undertaken by unit Metronic Engineering Sdn Bhd, would start on Aug 15 and be completed by March 2020.
