MyEG signs tenancy deals for 512 accomodation units in Malacca

PETALING JAYA: E-services provider My EG Services Bhd (MyEG) has entered into three tenancy agreements with the Melaka State Development Corp for the rental of 512 accomodation units to serve as hostels to foreign workers, subject to the terms and conditions in the agreements.

The agreements were signed through subsidiary My EG Lodging Sdn Bhd (MyEL), whose principal activities include building, owning and operating hostels for foreign workers. The tenancy has a three-year duration. “The signing of the tenancy will enable the company to commence operations, and the company will use these sites as pilot sites for future expansion to set up more sites nationwide,” said MyEG in a filing to Bursa Malaysia.
