SUBANG JAYA: Panasonic (M) Sdn Bhd aims to raise its system solutions business revenue by 30% this year to RM130mil, driven by five key industry categories, deputy managing director Hiroyuki Muto said.
The five categories are property development, education, hospitality, retail, as well as broadcast and cinematography, he told reporters at its system solution business product launching ceremony in Subang Jaya on Tuesday.
“Unlike other electrical and electronic providers, Panasonic offers an extensive range of integrated business solutions.
“It will help businesses to conduct operations beyond international borders apart from improving productivity and reducing total cost of ownership,” Hiroyuki said.
At the event, eight products were introduced by Panasonic to add to its extensive range of system solutions product line.
The products were communication server, high definition video conference system, video management software, projectors, scanner and camera.
“We also offer professional services to customers which include consultation service, system design, demonstrations, integration of products and deployment,” Panasonic country head (system solutions) Seelan Kandasamy said.
On market share of its product categories, Seelan said currently Panasonic led the communication and professional audio segment, as well as the video category, while its closed-circuit television (CCTV) segment came in second.
“We aim to lead the CCTV category in the near future as the difference in the share market is only 0.5%,” he said. - Bernama
